George & Jonathan was an act that took me a while to really enjoy and get into. The sheer “poppyness” of the whole thing took some getting used to, but there’s some amazing stuff on this album. I haven’t listened to the second one as much, but this might be favorite track off of The Best Music.

So when did cigarettes start cluttering your hands? I ponder this some nights alone when I undress. And what do you do with those boys I see you with, or better yet, what would I do if you came back? I’d say no, or I hope I could, but I still want you. And what do you think I would do after you left? Would I stay sober? I think it’d be much worse. I’d cut my arms off. No regeneration.

The social justice blogger gasped in horror. “How dare you say something so offensive? The gender system is not binary! It was also sexist to say “boy” before “girl”! Ugh go die in a hole cis scum. Check your privilege!” It shouted in fury.
The blogger left with a great sense of revulsion, ending its pokemon adventure before it even began.
